If you keep asking you are bound to get a coherent answer. Being as I have
only a brief encounter with the movement and have not directly participated
in the events from beginning to end, I'm likely not the best person to ask.

democratically run network known as the Rainbow Family. They seem to
have a national gathering once and year and regional gatherings throughout
the year. Again I stand to be corrected but from what I've heard, buying
and selling are prohibited at the gathering. Bartering of handcrafts and
tools though does occur.

Music is limited for the most part to acoustic music and radios and
cassette machines are discouraged.

That is all I know about the rainbow gatherings besides the impressive
display of ecological responsibility I saw mentioned above. Like yourself
I checked into this topic to perhaps find out more.
