Here's a re-print of that last message, with the lines wrapped
for those, like me, who can't read it on Econet the way it was.

---------- */ Dear FamilyQ
The Alabama Gathering can be reached by mail: P.O. Box
7141, Rainbow City AL 35906. It sounds like we are smaller, and
could really use more strong focused folks to help. The site is
really beautiful, a creek flowing from one lake to the other,
wadeab le, swimmable and floatable. Tall hardwoods surround the
meadows. The bugs and the police are approximately equal
annoyances; local reception is excellent.
WARNING: contagious mange has broken out among dogs on
the Alabama site. Heartworms are also a danger here. Leave your
dog behind!
I'm headed in tomorrow (July 2) with the stacks of
literature I promised my Family I would print for the GatheringQ
Rap 107, Legaliaison alerts, etc. I'm sorry I couldn't be a
better net-node through all this, but I've been pre-occupied with
delivering what I had promised: getting a Howdy Folks/Ho! in the
mail, etc. (I was already over-committed before this Gathering
came around, you see.)
I'm also carrying a hard copy of the last few days of
alt.gathering.rainbow, which I titled, "One Love, Two Gatherings,
Free Speech!"
I'm going to propose to Vision Council in Alabama that
the 1994 Rainbow Gathering take place "somewhere West of the
Rockies;" folks can present specific sites or bioregions at
Thanksgiving Council. Thanksgiving Council site can be chosen at
the Colorado
Fall Regional, if that's a true rumor. Will someone please
propose this at the Vision Council in Kentucky? Those of us who
don't care where we gather, only why we gather, could rally
around it on each site to try for a unified consensus.
This Vision Council(s) is an oracle to me of the future
of Rainbow. Spirit's will be done, not mine. Hallelujah and
praise God from deep in the Deep SouthQ have a blessed Fourth,
family!
love, Wing
