S U B J E C T FWD>Alabama Site
I just talked for 20 minutes with Carla from Eugene. She's on her way to the NW
regional, and then will be going to Alabama.

Ric from the Guide is going to Alabama.

I also understand that Felipe and Lynn are on their way from KY to the AL site.

The primary concern is that the KY site is on a land fill strip-mined 18 years
ago. There is no telling what may have been used therein.

I am not taking a final position on this yet. However, I feel that this info
should be posted for balance.

Badger called. He, Art, Quill, and Frenchie located the following site in
Alabama, where he says is officially the site for the gathering. Kaladega
National Forest (spelling may not be accurate). Take 278 to Piedmont. Take US 9
(Main Street) to Ladigo. Turn left (East) and go about 2 1/2 miles until Ladigo
becomes Vigo. Go to Hebble Highway. Turn right - go about 1/2 mile to Duggart
Mountain Road. Turn left. Follow Duggart Mtn Rd approximately 16 miles (at some
point it becomes Forest Service Road 500). Look for sign for Sweetwater Lake
where there's parking and Welcome Home.
Call taken by Coyote Woman (aka Ren).
