Wisconsin Family in Council on the land in the Nicolet National
Forest consensed to create a Wisconsin Legal Liason council to
handle relation for future gatherings here, and more immediately
to attempt to enlist our Congressional delegation in blocking the
new US Forest Service proposed regulations. Initially we will
focus on our new Senator, Russel Feingold who sits on the
Agriculture Committee, with jurisdiction over the USFS.
Text of a letter to him, and a petition were consensed, and are
included as responses 1 and 2 to this topic.
