Roslin Cave, so I am lead to believe, is part of an ancient site that has a ring of Oak trees and a pagan tradition.

April 97: There is a national gathering in Greece. For details ask Julietta, address: in newsletter, at the entry for the big Greek gathering.

April 22: South African Council in Tzaneen. This council is to start getting folks together for a gathering in the Nov/Dec time frame to coincide with the European and Israli gatherings. 13 - 22nd: Gathering in southern Ireland. The Irish seed camp starts on the 4th of May and the Gathering proper starts on the 9th of May near Rosenallis in the Slieve Bloom Mountains ( I don't know but this site may well be the same place as the '93 European Rainbow Gathering, its close by any way) Basically head west from Dublin to Port Liesh then follow the road signs for Rosenallis. 10.6. - 24.6: Fifteenth European Rainbow Gathering, first part in Scotland. Seed camp will be from June 1st. at a place called Knockangairoch near loch Doon in Ayr, SW Scotland. There will be a full moon council there on Thursday 22 May.
Directions to Seed Camp: Kockengorroch, Ayrshire, SW Scotland.

August 3-18: 11th annual Rainbow family gathering in Quebec at Sanctuaire d'Ixworth. How to get there: Take highway 20 east to Lapocatiere (exit 439). Take Poire street to the village of St-Onesime. Turn left on rural road 4, then right on Drapeau road. At the fork, take the right and follow the road to Ixworth sanctuary. Email yva@odyssee.net for more info.
August 10-28: European Rainbow Gathering, second part on Paiko mountain near Thessaloniki/Greece. How to get there: From Thessaloniki take the road to Scopia via Polikastro. In Polikastro turn left to Gorgopi, there turn right to Karpi (this far you can get by bus). OR: If you are coming e.g. from Italy, take the road from Igoumenitsa via Veria to Thessaloniki. In Veria turn left to Giannitsa, then straight on to Goomenisa. There turn right to Gorgopi, in Gorgopi turn left to Karpi. From Karpi a small dirt road leads up the mountain, follow the signs. Decemeber 5-22: South African Rainbow Gathering. Seedcamp starts around 25 November. To get to the gathering site, take the R339 to Uniondale/Big Tree, off the N2 from Cape Town; or the R340 if approaching on the N2 from Port Elizabeth. Other Info

The family in Greece is planning the Karakaxes country side cleaning project, a travelling community that cleans up the greek countryside and creates awareness by informing the people. The project will start after the gathering in Greece, they still need a small four wheel drive truck + invite everybody to join. Tel. Tomas or Augustinos, see Greece info.
There are full moon gatherings in Tuebingen/Germany always the night before. It`s in a tipi that contains a Hindu altar. How to get there: From the train station take the road to Rottenburg, then turn right to Hirschau, cross the Neckar river, turn right along the river. Then the road turns left away from the river, soon after there`s a small road to the left. At the end of that road, follow a small path leading away from the river up the mountain Spitzberg for about 100m. Contact: Marina Stiess, see above.
The gathering at Schwaebische Alb/Germany has created a peace camp that is still existing, it has moved to Bad Urach, near the hot springs.
