You can use Iodine tablets to purify the water (halzone...) but, investigate
the new small portable filters for backpacking...the ones with the pump work
and work well...as to what to bring, if y{ou have rice, powdered milk, couscous,tofu, BRING IT!! EVERYTHING is wanted and can be used in one or more of the kitchens... See you there!
