The Celebration of Community is an opportunity to share and
celebrate the knowledge gained from people living and working
cooperatively over many years. It will be a first- time-ever
event, bringing together participants from all over the globe for
sharing visions, experiences, and systems of cooeprative and
sustainable living. The insights and innovations of intentional
communities, cohousing groups, co-ops, and eco-villages can open
positive avenues into the future, and help provide solutions to
many of the probelms that threaten our society today.

A forum for sharing information and expertise on:

o Community Building
o Group Process/Communication
o Spirituality
o Relationships
o Environmental Concerns
o Appropriate Technology
o Eco-Villages
o Innovative Housing/Cohousing
o Social Issues
o Community Economics
o Cooperative Organication
o Cottage Industries
o Organic Farming/Permaculture
o Land Stewardship/Land Trusts
o Education

Come share and learn about tools for creating community, issues of
cooperative living, techniques to building consensus, and methods
for resolving or mediating conflicts. Help explore the
possibilities of what we can create together: a community network
health fund, a community bank, a speakers bureau, technical
assitance for new and established communities, and whatever else
emerges from our collective needs and wisdom. We will look at
ways in which the skills from living in community can impact the
larger society, and how we can support seekers in their quest to
bring more community into their lives.
