In the beginning, all we had was telepathy. Then word came, which led to
Bable-on. Rainbow telecommunication has come a long way through various
incarnations of isolated BBSing, to the Institute for Global Communication
(IGC) EcoNet and PeaceNet conference >awf.rainbownews<, which was eventually
networked to at least one other Association for Progressive Computing (APC)
system, GreenNet in Europe; then, the UseNet newsgroup >alt.gathering.rainbow<
was formed. What would be required to extend >alt.gathering.rainbow< even
further to a FidoNet echo?
