WORLD UNITY FESTIVAL
A Gathering of World Artists, Indigenous People
World Organizations and Musicians
Grand Canyon National Park and Northern Arizona University
August 22-28, 1994

~~~~~~BRING YOUR DRUMS~~~~~~

Calling interested participants to help create this event. This includes
performers. music groups and individuals interested in setting ip a
booth or giving a workshop or lecture and other volunteers.

The Peace Gathering will be from August 22 - 26 (Monday thru Friday)
at the south rim of Grand Canyon. During this time, there will be music,
booths, speakers, workshops, ceremonies. All these events will be free and
completely open to the public with free on-site camping. The main concert
and ceremonies will be Saturday and Sunday at Northern Arizona University
Skydome. Saturday is the World unity Music Festival from 9:00 A.M. to
midnight ($20 admission). Sunday is the World Unity Spiritual Celebration
from 9:00 A.M.to 900 P.M. ($10 to $20 donation). The agenda for Sunday
includes:
Global Indigenous and Religious Leaders 9:00 A.M. - noon
Restoring the Sacred Hoop Ceremony and
Global Peace Pagoda Dedication noon - 1:00 P.M.
Drums Around the World 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Global Percussionists 3:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.

This event also includes DRUMS AROUND THE WORLD, Rhythms of Healing,
Rhythms of Peace. Sunday, August 28,1994. Create a continuous drumming
festival from sunrise to sunset in your time zone with a one hour of silent
meditiation for world peace at 12 noon Pacific Time. You can do this from
wherever you are, creating in effect 24 hours of continuous drumming.
