Paramananda
Empirical knowledge is the science of the material.
Internal realization is the science of the spiritual.
These two together are sister and brother.
In this world, they assist each other.
Between them there is no contradiction.
They have a relations of complementation.
Science will knock on the door of spirituality,
To attain its unfathomable divine personality.
Material science bestows some power of healing,
But it has thousand times more power for killing.
God-realized persons have no need of education at college.
Beyond mind and speech is the divine direct knowledge.
Self-Realized Souls attain eternal freedom.
Forever they are free from sensory thralldom.
All live on earth animal, human, male and female
Alas, all roads to Heaven pass through hell.
Most mystery lies in mystical meditation.
Completion comes by concrete concentration.
Real wisdom comes by realizing the divine kingdom.
Perfect Freedom comes by rejecting sensory thralldom.
With freedom from mind and matter comes prefect freedom.
By controlling the mind one attains divine wisdom.
O my dear friend, don't worry; don't be sorry.
Don't you know, this sense world is transitory?
Having realized the Self and tasted immortality,
One's knowledge and life become full of felicity.
In this sensory world, will those born blind,
Ever understand the rainbow and its many colors find?
When the teacher is fallen into doubtful contradiction,
How will the students attain perennial perfection?
Thou Art the redeemer, the ultimate refuge of the universe.
Please restrain me from these false phenomena's farce.
Let me be merged in the life of wisdom and freedom.
Let me be free from the physical and mental thralldom.
Forgive me for my blunder;
You are wonder of wonders.
You are the embodiment of good;
You are the seeker of divine mood.
You are the Eternal, Ultimate Refuge,
You are everything which I use.
You are the cosmic compassionate, the same;
Your glory and dignity shinå above all name.
You are the only peerless cosmic champion;
The One and only Hero of the divine dominion.
In Heaven and Earth you have divine daring,
You have saved the universe through Your caring.
You are the One who can secure and pacify,
Before you all devils and demons say good-bye.
My mind is worried and so sorry,
For nobody can express your glory.
You are the embodiment of Peace,
Grant me your Grace and Bliss.
Where are the famous champions, the heroes and the brave?
All have gone into the underground grave.
A materialistic life seems so easy and comfortable,
but in fact it is busy and miserable.
To solve life's riddle, use your reason and brain.
Employ discrimination; and the mind do train.
The secret of religion is self-restraint.
Perfection in religion is true self-contentment.
Vacate your mind; let the soul take rest.
Don't think; let the soul remain in its nest.
Dear aspirant, hear the transcendental sound.
See as well the divine dazzling light profound.
Keep your mind occupied with thoughts of the Divinity.
Taste true immortality; dance in the field of felicity.
Priceless time is passing, very rapidly away.
What you plan to do tomorrow, you must do today.
Be alert; take care; make no further delay.
Know the universal secret, His inscrutable play.
I am not this mortal body with fidgety mentality.
I am the true essential man of pure immortality.
O Siva, Lord of Yoga, I prostrate to Thee.
To write a few lines about You, allow me.
You are an eternally beautiful strong young chap.
The matted hair on your head is a splendid cap.
Ash and paste are smeared on Your forehead,
The latter of saffron and sandalwood made.
Both Your ears are adorned with crystal earrings.
>From the top of Your head Mother Ganges springs.
If you devote your life to spiritual meditation,
You will receive as compensation, a divine pension.
