Just a a note, Rainbow Gatherings around the world take many forms, some familiar, and some not. This is the fun of traveling and experiencing other cultures.

Jan 10 - Feb 8: Panama Rainbow Gathering at Arcoiris, Panama. The gathering is now in scout prosses we are gonna have the last scout vision council on 13/12 in bastimentos island bocas del toro panama then we will do a rainbow party on that island the 18/12 to get money for seed camp and also a full moon párty also there the 26/12 the seed camp. Feb 14 - March 5: 6th Rainbow Walkabout in Sinai (Egypt). Meeting point for this pilgrimage will be on the 14th of February 2005 in the garden of Mileihis from where we start our walk through the desert to Mount Moses, where we will reach in the beginning of March. February 8 - March 10: Kasi Ganga Rainbow Mela Varanasi -India. Across the Ganga from Assi Ghat (Freeland Beach Site). the camp is full on. We are in a butyful site - in a bamboo Grove - now about 40 in the circle - expecting to grow with the moon - untill ShivaRatri. It is just near varanassi - we can see the city skyline in the distance. From the first Ghat (Assi) across the Ganga, crossing the beach for 10 min. and the fields for 5 min. behind a tempel under construction - the Hanuman Mandir - we live. March 10th - April 9th, 2005: Continental Turtle Island Rainbow gathering. Los Tuxtlas region in southern Vera Cruz Look for directions sometime in late Februrary. Further info can be found at www.catemaco.org . This page is currently being translated to english so be patient. However you may enter that rainbow message board scroll down to the arcoiris/rainbow postings.
DIRECTIONS: From Catemaco take a local bus(they are a pick up truck and locally called piratas) to Sontecomapan(they leave every 15 minutes from Catemaco and it is aboput a 20 minute ride). On the way tell the bus driver to drop you off at the road that goes to the town of Coxcoapan. It is about 3km down that road to the entrance and you can either wait there and take another local bus that goes to Coxcoapan twice a day or you may walk or hitch a ride from a farmer or local. The entrance is on the right hand side of the road and it will be well marked(if you are driving the parking is across from the entrance on the left hand side of the road) and you walk from there about 15 minutes to WELCOME HOME!!!
NOTE--- The ranch is owned by Eduardo. When you pass a gate that is closed, open it and close again behind you, if it is already open then leave it open. It is tick season and so it is best to avoid the tall grass areas of the site. The ticks are harmless except that they are small and they itch like hell and you need to check your body often to remove them.

March 19th - 21th, 2005: The German Rainbowfamily invites all foculizers and european brothers and sisters, who want to share in preparing and organizing the European Rainbowgathering 2005 in Germany to come to "Waldwerk Regenbogen" in Plessa/East-Germany the 19th, 20th and 21st of march.
"Waldwerk Regenbogen" invites everybody, who wants to celebrate live to come to Plessa. Start with building up kitchen and tipis is the 18th of march, or a little before. March 20th - 29th, 2005: Israeli spring rainbow gathering around the Jewish carnival holiday called Purim. It will be in the northern Negev - in Sha Allah. Scouting is still going on ...when we 'll have consensus there will be more information about the site .meanwhile.

April 17th - May 2nd, 2005: German Spring Rainbow Gathering. The magic place we found is at the north-east coast It is on farmersland and called Wangelkov beside the village Pinnow. From Berlin: A11 to the north, direction Sczcecin/Stettin, 81 kms Exit 5, go on A20 north, direction Greifswald, 26 km Exit 35, go on B109 to Anklam Follow B110 to Murchin and further to Pinnow Let the car there, walk half an our following the signs Or ask for Wangelkow. April 14th - 28nd, 2005: An "unofficial" (whatever that means) Australian Rainbow Gathering. Directions: Make your way to Grafton, NSW.. stock up with food and drinking water etc. Go down the Gwydir Hyway head towards Glenn Innes. Drive for 28ks. then turn left at Romornie camp site. Look for flags.

May 8th - June 6rd, 2005: "World" Rainbow Gathering in Turkey. One World Gathering in Turkey at Eynif, near Ýbradi, north from Manavgat. Seed camp has already started. How to get there: Eynif Yaylasi (Plateau) is about 100 kms. Northeast of Antalya city. Bashlar is the nearest village. To reach Bashlar, from Antalya aim for Manavgat \u2013 Ibradi or Tasagil \u2013 Baslar. From Bashlar about 10 kms. easy walk to the Southeast end of the plateau. This road is getting better for smaller vehicles by May. Another walking trail (11 kms) starts from Ormana village near Ibradi. Nearest train link is Konya. From Konya go Akseki and Ibradi. Local public transport and English language skills are limited. The site is wild, about 1.300 meters high. Be aware of cold nights, big shepherd dogs, far away shop. June 15 - June 30th 2005: Italian Rainbow gathering in south Italy. (Basilicata) For more info, email rainbowfamily@libero.it or selvan_san@yahoo.it
June 21th - July 25 2005: Nordic Ting Rainbow Gathering in Norway. The "One World Artic Circle" is in the same place. We're now considering different possible sites and we will meet at the Easter Ting Gathering with family to focalize in the scouting. The following dates were agreed upon:

June 7th - New moon: blue electric eagle. Ting seed camp.
June 15th - Half moon: blue spectral night. Rainbow seed camp.
June 21st - Mid-summer full moon: self-existing red moon. This is a fusion between Ting and Rainbow Family. One World Arctic Circle Gathering begins... Nordic celebration of light and fertility. The ashes of the Rainbow sacred fire coming from the Quebec Rainbow gathering will join with our sacred fire to give light to the universe and join our love.
July 4th - White self-existing wind. Silent meditation for world peace and harmony till noon
July 21st - Full moon: galactic blue storm
July 25th - Day out of time. Crystal night.
July 26th - Mayan New Year. Cosmic Seed. Goal 2005: To transcend (grow) and flower spiritually.
July 27th - Cleanup begins.
Dierctions: The Gathering is between Narvik and Tromsř, and can be reached by hitch hiking the motorway E-6, trains from Oslo to Fauske and then busses, train from Sweden via Kiruna to Narvik and buss - or airplane to Tromsř. At the Sami Market at HEIA next to E-6 by the lake Takvatn, about 35 km south of Kilpisjdrvi (Treriksgrensen - where Norway, Sweden and Finland meets), 350 km north of Narvik and 80 km east of Tromsř - there is now an INFORMATION CENTER for those looking for the Gathering. Bulgaria Rainbow Gathering. For more info, email bulgarianrainbow@yahoogroups.com In the deepest and the wildest of the Strandja forest between the three magic mountains ,by the three running rivers, at he third mellow meadow the annual Bulgarian Rainbow gathering of peace and love will take place from 6\6 to the 6\7 near the village of Vizica 55km. south of Burgas ,27 km.west of the Black Sea. Once in Vizica turn north on the black road next to the only small Shop and walk the last 3 kilometers till you reach a wooden bridge. Welcome Home:) Look for Rainbow Signs on the way. There are buses to Vizica only on friday from Burgas at 14.30 and from Malko Tarnovo at 5.00 in the morning. The invitation is here, and the map is here.

European Gathering in Germania SCOUTING PROGRESS:Final scouting has begun. For information about possible locations ask the Scouting Team (address below). we will meet from june 3. to 5. to dream and feel the magic space and maybe already find a consensus. the place for this meeting will be known shortly before, ask the Scouting Space Team (not available on email). support on all levels is highly welcome.
The European Gathering starts at newmoon the 6th of july. we are opening up in sweet surrender to the luminous love light of the one... with sweet kisses. we celebrate fullmoon on the 21st of july. Peru Rainbow Gathering. I don't have exact dates, but seed camp has started. It is in Mother Nature Quillabamba, 8 hours from Cosco. there are hotels in the range of prices 5 to 15 soles. and a vegitarian resturant for those who arrive to the town. In front of the old market there is a combi sation, and there there is a map describing on how to get to the location of the gathering. (about 1 hour drive in the jungle. (2.5 soles)

Italian Rainbow Gathering in Tuscany. Directions: From Pistoia: follow directions to Abetone. after 10 Km pass through Pievepelago after 8 Km at Serpiano, turn left for 3 Km till Passo delle Cento Croci. From this pass, turn left and go for 3 Km untill the Parking. From Modena: go in the direction of Abetone 10 Km before Pievepelago, in Loc.Serpiano turn right and arrive at Passo delle Cento Croci. From this pass, turn left and go for 3 Km until the Parking.

Sept 1th - 14th
Basic Skills Rainbow Retreat Gathering in Austria. Note: the location has recently changed! In Ą°Elsbethen GlasenbachĄą (part of the town Ą°SalzburgĄą) you have a traffic circle. Take the road that has the bank (Raiffeisenkasse) on its right and follow it for 300m. You cross a small stone bridge. Directly after the bridge, on the left, you see a hiking path that runs along the small river. (After 10min walk you reach a parking space where you could leave your car - I did not figure out how to get to the parking by carĄ) Follow this path for about 5 km into the valley. Cross the river to get to our camp shortly before the end of the valley, before a bridge. Watch out for signs. Welcome home!
How to get there by public transport: You can easily from all directions find your way to the city Ą°SalzburgĄą. At the main station you have busses every 15 to 30 minutes that go to Ą°Elsbethen GlasenbachĄą, starting at 4:50 in the morning until 23:46 in the night.
Ą°Elsbethen GlasenbachĄą is located in the south east of the city. From the Ą°Park + Ride S¨šdĄą (big parking space - ask people) take the road over the bridge, that can be seen from the parking. After 100m the road crosses the river Ą°SalzachĄą. You are going the right direction. Following this road for 2kms, you reach Ą°Elsbethen GlasenbachĄą.

Sept 16th - Sept 30th
Greek Gathering at North Peloponnesus at the lake FENEOS. (on the site we were there for the 9th gathering May 2001). Directions: From town Kiato (25km west from Korinfos or 100km east of Patras) you go south towards villages Souli, Kastanea, Messino, Feneo about 60km. At Feneo you go towards the lake (its a nice artificial lake with forest around and a dirt road circling it) and you should look for signs at the south part of the lake (at north part of the lake there is a monastery). To Kiato you get by train and bus and from there it should be one-two buses per day going up to Feneo; from Feneo to the lake you may have to hitch or walk about 4km. NOTE: This site may be moving. Check the Greek Rainbow Family web site for updates.

Belgian Rainbow Gathering 2005 in Jenneret.Jenneret is located close to Ouffet, Hamoir and Durbuy. The closest railway-station is in Hamoir. From Hamoir you take road N623. At the end of this road (7,5 km) you go left, direction Ocquier, road N638. After 500 meter, you\u2019ll see on your right a road with a sign to Jenneret. The way to Jenneret is about half a kilometer long.
By car: from Brussels, Antwerp, Hasselt, Maastricht, Aachen: take the highway to Ličge (Luik). In Ličge take the N63 direction Marche-en-Famenne and Rochefort. In Tinlot take the N66 to Ouffet. In Ouffet when you cross the N638, go right, after 3 km you will see a sign on your right side to Jenneret.
from Valenciennes, Mons, Charleroi, Namur: take the highway direction Ličge and Huy. On the highway, take the exit to Huy. In Huy, take the N66 to Ouffet. In Ouffet when you cross the N638, go right, after 3 km you will see a sign on your right side to Jenneret.

Panamá Rainbow Gathering Vision council at Valle de Anton.. halfway point betwen the border with Costa Rica and Panama The council would be saturday and sunday, the 12th and 13th of November, in order to have a Vision Council about the january-february gathering... some interesting proposals have already come up, that can't escape the attention of those interested in looking for the right place.. please, confirm or make a suggestion.

Dec 20, 2006 - Jan 29, 2007: World Gathering in Thailand. Seed camp starts New moon 22 October 2006 (yes, a 2 month seed-camp with a vision of rainbow gardening). Scouts are called to meet in Ayutthaya (an hour north of Bangkok) for the Full moon 15th December 2005 (yes a year of scouting). Feb 1-28 2006: Canary islands Rainbow Gathering on the island of El-Hierro.
Jan 29 - Feb 27, 2006: Panama Rainbow Gathering. Directions should be available in January.
Jan 29 - Feb 14, 2006: At the world gathering in Turkey, it was consensed to start a tradition of World Rainbow Healing Retreats. This means a retreat-style gathering, with a strong focus on healing, meditation, fasting and yoga. Without any drugs, including tobacco, sugar and caffeine. Vision council consensed that there will be a World Rainbow Healing retreat to follow each World Rainbow Gathering, the time and location of each will be consensed upon in the vision council of each World Rainbow Gathering.
The first World Rainbow Healing Retreat will be in SINAI (A part of Egypt). the retreat will begin New Moon January 29 2006 with 5 days of seed camp and visioning. Strong focus of Retreat will begin on 4th February 2006 untill 14th February 2006. Scouts are called to meet in Dahab on Full Moon 14th January 2006. March 21 - April 23, 2006: At the world gathering in Turkey, it was consensed to create a World Peace in the Middle East rainbow gathering, that will circle around the Mid-east to being rainbow love into the region. The first Gathering was consensed to be in South-East Turkey on the path of Total Solar Eclipse. Seed camp starts March 13. For more information, email mideastgathering@yahoogroups.com.
