Don't Spit in Kentucky

OK, it's official, and with even more unity than I expected: Don't-Spit-In-
The (Turtle) soup kitchen will be servin' for ya in Kentucky this year, by two
consensus calls (to be sure early leavers & late arrivers were included) at the
picnic yesterday. There basically was no interest at all in Alabama, which
surprised me, and in fact was some hostility toward Alabama on the part of some,
who felt that the scouts had power-tripped a family split (I think I calmed the
fires by relaying what I have read here). In any event, there's no question but what Kentucky is the strong destination of those sisters and brothers around
Ann Arbor. Hope to see many there, and remember the Great Lakes Council at the
DSIT(T) Soup Kitchen, July 5, 1:00pm.
